Before coming to U.P., John was training on a loose programme; he was going to the gym inconsistently and doing daily spinning and HIIT routines which left him feeling exhausted and hungry.
However, the results never matched the effort he was putting in. He was cycling through the same 4kg weight gain or loss.
“Weekends I am knackered, and can’t spend time with the kids; I also end up overeating. I would do it consistently for about four weeks and then one big night out and I would slip right back into unhealthy living the next week. It is so disheartening to put in all the effort and get nothing back.
